It’s very easy to turn from sealing to venting position. I jumped a little when I did it because I didn’t know what to expect, I now know I won’t get steam burnt when I release.I worried about my cabinet and moisture so when I used my IP I would always move it to my sink counter area, I now can leave it in it designated spot and cook all I want with no worries.
