This is great for keeping me warm and dry. The hood is useful in keeping my head dry & it has something to adjust the size to keep the wind from blowing it off your head. It's a bonus that you can pack the jacket into the back pocket of the jacket and wear it around your waist with an elastic belt. It's my "go to" jacket when I'm not sure what the weather will be like. It keeps out the wind & rain.
