This dashcam and rear camera are decent enough to use as a average video quality dashcam. If you aren't looking for super clear front camera, this will work just fine for you.The good:- Price is fantastic for what you get. This is a capacitor dashcam, so no fear of lithium cells exploding due to heat.- It comes with a rear camera.... but see cons section for more of this.- Angled design doesn't stick out on the front window. This isn't a box that sits down on your windshield view and does blend in pretty well.The bad- Quality of the front camera is SUPER compressed. This basically means you can't make out license plates that are 20 feet in front of your car. Don't expect to use this camera for catching a hit and run driver, etc.- Quality of the rear video files are TERRIBLE! The only video quality for the rear is 640x480, which is not usable for anything but a basic idea of someone potential rear ending you, but you will never be able to make out a driver/license plate. Keep this in mind. Oddly, if you view the rear camera on the screen, you can digitally zoom in and its obviously much better detail than what you see in the 640x480 video file. I'd guess this main camera wasn't meant to record front/rear and they adapted it to do rear by squeezing a bit of CPU power out and it was only capable of recording 640x480.- As this is a capacitor camera on the front, it can only take video is provided with constant 12v power source. This does not have a battery, so cannot record anything while parked if you don't power it 100% of the time. That is 1 advantage of a lithium powered camera, they can turn themselves on using a g sensor and record a 30 second clip, even when not connected to a constant power source.Overall, I gave this 3/5 stars because of price and because it came with a rear camera, though pretty much unusable in real life. Its low profile, easy to install, and has been reliable over the past 3 weeks. Wifi functionality works well and video files transfer easily.With that said, the instruction manual is basic and cryptic and makes no refrence to a number of menu options and settings. There's no info on setting up the rear camera or what the 2 switches on the back of the rear cam are for. At this time there's no company website or online support. Thanks to Youtube I discovered that this unit shares similar menus and settings to the Rexing brand dash cams and configured this cam based on those instructions. The app also leaves a lot to be desired and according to the antivirus software on my devices is a major security risk.Verdict: Great dash cam. Great price. Right before 2yrs, I paid for the 3yr warranty but I guess this camera is no longer made. The front camer is full HD the rear video is grainer than my 2002 nokia 5180 phone.
