Some people say you are a wimp if you use these, but for me it's not the case of being unhappy with the weight it is in fact localized pain on my spine. Ideally when you squat your traps should create a padding but if you are like me and your spine is close to the skin, not amount of muscle will help - hence I turned to this. What is better than other pads is simply the groove, this allows for a better distribution of the weight across the neck and shoulders therefore making any weight a lot more manageable on the pain scale.I have tested this so far up to 140 kg and feels the same for every kilo from 40 kg upwards. Obviously and difference it weight but from a comfort perspective it is a lot better and more manageable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product and value for money. Particularly useful for my female clients that have less of a trap cushion for the bar to sit on and often complain that the bar is pressing on the top of the spine. This pad solved all problems and everyone who uses it remarks on the comfort and ears of use.Pad wraps round the bar tightly and isn't likely to spin or twist.
