Be aware, this product is very thin/runny and looks brownish orange but give it a chance. It works fabulously. It didn't stain my tub, scalp, or hands. It adds a subtle brightening to my color, although you can add more color the longer you leave it on before rinsing. The directions also state that you can make your hair color more intense by shampooing your hair twice with this product while in the shower **Q: Would this make my "dirty strawberry blonde" hair closer to a lighter "strawberry blonde"?** A: In my experience...no. If you want a lighter strawberry blonde try L'Oreal Excellence Creme (8RB). There's not enough color in this stuff to change your hair color. I probably won't re-order. **Q: Does this wash completely out? Is it truly temporary, no ammonia etc.** A: Yes. It washes out after a couple of shampoos. It is a color enhancer that maintains my strawberry blonde color in-between colorings. **Q: I am looking to cover the bit of white hair that my naturally red/strawberry blonde hair is turning. Will this work? What about a conditioner?** A: This does not do a great job of covering grey. Though I do use it on my 30% gray roots to extend the periods between coloring. It is a bit pink on the gray hair, but blends with the not gray well enough to last another week. It also boosts the overall color nicely, helping to draw attention from roots. I would highly recommend this shampoo. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Poor packaging ! *by U***A on October 14, 2025* Package was leaving when it aarrived . I had to rush it to the sink. My hands were full of dye and couldn't take a picture as i had to wash my hands and the item. The item still leaks after several rinsing. There was noticeable crack but once the bottle is tipped it leaked. I dont have time to return it as it will cost me more time than its worth as for some reason after I moved to a gated community, I can no longer ask for a return ups label for free. It costs a $1.00 to drop to ups, $7.00 to get picked up or fall in line at wholefoods to drop it for free. Wish Amazon would make it easier for customers to return as easy as ordering. It would be nice to get a partial refund from seller for the poor packaging. Product was good as usual. This is not my first time ordering this product. Color stays for a month or more. I just finish it up with a good conditioner as it makes my hair stiff. Other than that it beats going to the salon and the shanpoo dye does not leave a dye residue on your hands so no need for a glove either. Just shampoo your hair like normal. Leave for a few minutes and rinse.
