I unplugged it and let it sit for a couple of days. When I plugged it in again I noticed that the engine appeared to be struggling, and shortly thereafter it started smoking; the outside of the cooler was super hot, so it was obvious the motor had burned up. What concerns me is that in the past, I wasn’t always around when the cooler was plugged in and in use, so thank goodness I was this time, as it could have started a fire.
