The downside of this Pedal is 2 fold, but these affect its overall operation and its affect on other pedals in a line, also the Amp its going through. It has no on off switch, so, if you want to switch to another pedal you can only put the unit in tuner mode , it cannot be unplugged for obvious reasons. Lets say we put it in tuner mode allowing other pedals to operate, there is a sound loss of 20% through the Amp so any bypass attempt does not truly work, If on the other hand you wish to use this pedal on its own and then switch to your clean amp the power loss is significant.
