**Q: What gauge Ni-chrome wire comes with the cutter?**
A: I do not remember. it is round wire, and it change the shape that you formed, once you pass it on the material (unless your material is very very soft.

**Q: Will the wire in this tool hold its shape with prolonged use?  I would be using it for internal decor in a restoration project for a 1920's theater.**
A: It comes with several (5-6?) replacement wire elements. I've used my cutter a fair amount so far & am still on the 1st wire

**Q: can I purchase it with a transformer to suit Australia's 240V supply**
A: Steve, You will need to purchase 28707 Proxxon Transformer NG2/E (230-240 volt) Variable Speed or 28706 Proxxon Transformer NG2/S (230-240 volt) Either transformer will work on the 27082 Thermocut 12/E.
