Review: Not what I expected - The size is incorrect. That size listed is for the lid only. The space at the inside of the box at the top measures 11.5" x 13" and it gets more narrow towards the bottom. I wanted something a little larger. Most importantly, you can't have glue on the inside of the box if you are using it for food. If it didn't have the glue and it was larger, I wouldn't mind as much. Also, probably wouldn't proof the dough in this box, because the type of wood used is very porous and may dry out the dough. UPDATE: I managed to sand out the glue and I have been seasoning it with oil. I'm only going to try using it for mixing and will still proof in a glass bowl with 2 towels. One wet towel and one dry.

The size is incorrect. That size listed is for the lid only. The space at the inside of the box at the top measures 11.5" x 13" and it gets more narrow towards the bottom. I wanted something a little larger. Most importantly, you can't have glue on the inside of the box if you are using it for food. If it didn't have the glue and it was larger, I wouldn't mind as much. Also, probably wouldn't proof the dough in this box, because the type of wood used is very porous and may dry out the dough. UPDATE: I managed to sand out the glue and I have been seasoning it with oil. I'm only going to try using it for mixing and will still proof in a glass bowl with 2 towels. One wet towel and one dry.
