I returned it & ordered the Draper model. Still waiting but at least I've used their tools before & know they work. Depending on the compressor wattage, a generator will run it OK. **Q: do you get a 12v battery charger cable with this as it has the 12v socket for it on the pic** A: Please remember too, that these are 2 stroke generators, & runs on a precise mixture of Petrol mixed with Two stroke oil, for their entire lubrication.Unlike 4 stroke generators, they run much faster- and emit smoke when in use.. and the pungent smell of two stroke oil.Its never bothered me, and these little sets if looked after properly, usually go for years!The biggest problem is the starter cord fraying and snapping- but thats only because people try and start these machines from the wrong angle- resulting in the cord rubbing against the housing!But look after one with the right amount of lubrication, (there is usually a measure atratched to the underside of the fuel cap for the correct amount of oil) , and pull the starter cord at the right angle, & they are great little sets. . Providing that you run them within their designed capability! Usually a 12v lead is also included for battery charging too. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Three Stars *by M***C on 9 May 2015* afther buying this product for boating or carvans ### ⭐ Unsafe, no stable voltage output! Less than a volt was read & fluctuated, loose components. *by F***S on 16 October 2016* Bought this on prime, waited 4 days to receive it. When it did eventually come, it started OK but like others said, it gives no power. When gennies sit for long periods their coils lose magnetism & thus no voltage output. This can be remedied by using power tools in reverse to "JumpStart" the coils again. That said, I didn't try this trick, its low voltage was fluctuating all over the place. As if the wait & lack of power wasn't enough, there were loose screws, including one rung screw in the front housing. This went back in the box for a refund. Def not what I expected from Germany!
