They're a bit scratchy after the first washing, maybe they will soften up with a little time. They tend to cling and not smooth out easily. However, for my purposes they worked out great. I have a little Class A motorhome with a sofa and ottomans in the back that all slide down to make a bed. It's a pain putting sheets on and off the bed every night to go from bed to sofa and back. The twin fitted sheet fits pretty nicely on the sofa section, and I cut the twin flat sheet in half and ran elastic around the edges of each square for fitted sheets on the two ottomans. I cut sections of 3/4 inch pvc to slide down between the seat sections and back sections to keep it tucked in. Voila! Fitted sheets for all parts, and the conversion from sofa to bed and back works just fine without taking off the sheets. Then we just throw down a blanket and pillows at night and we're done! I tried this the first time with regular sheets and they just wouldn't fit properly. The stretchy knit conforms perfectly to the odd shapes.
