Thanks in advance!** A: To get 500g, assume that the rated speed is really 4000rpm and 1790g's - - then the answer is (500/1790)^0.5 X 4000 = 2114rpm. Rated rpm (4000) times the square root of the ratio desired. I would recommend using a digital tachometer to measure/achieve the rpm desired.
