Two boys, 12 & 7, one Mum, one Dad. Only problem is, we don't all have rapid fire, just the 12 year old, who whinged and moaned and worked on us til he got this for his birthday to add to his ever growing collection of Nerf guns. So we have to take turns with the Big Gun. So far batteries lasting well, not too heavy, tho wee kids might struggle to carry it around, and no jamming. You need to have your clips all ready and loaded though, and when you run out, the rest of the family, who don't have automatic weapons are likely to gang up on you! The various attachments fit other Nerf guns. It has no educational value whatsoever, but who cares. It's been dropped a few times, on the carpet, but no damage - more durable than I expected. Only one slight concern, nerf guns with system (velcro) darts come with safety specs - I think they all should, as we have all had some sore ones in the eye.
