Review: Wish I hadn't ignored the reviews - only charges occassionally - I'm one of those people who sees mixed reviews and thinks, "For a few pounds it's worth the risk…" Well this time it wasn't. The light is fine – not killer bright but will happily light up a tent or whatever, and acts as a very nice corner mood lamp or night light. The problem is it only charges when it feels like it. I can have it on mains for six hours and it'll never stop flashing, then goes out after 15 minutes of use; other times it'll be signalling full after two hours and run for a while - although I think two hours charging for about three hours light is poor. As one expects with cheapo editions the solar panel doesn't appear to do anything except make the charge light flash. Don't be me –– spend the money on a real version of this product!

The light is fine – not killer bright but will happily light up a tent or whatever, and acts as a very nice corner mood lamp or night light. The problem is it only charges when it feels like it. I can have it on mains for six hours and it'll never stop flashing, then goes out after 15 minutes of use; other times it'll be signalling full after two hours and run for a while - although I think two hours charging for about three hours light is poor.
