Well, I could complain about the packaging that protected the lamp -- is time consuming to remove. But the lamp arrived in perfect shape. It lights up the room without light pouring directly in my eyes. And it is pretty. Actually, in the vernacular of my youth, it is cool! Nothing to do but unwrap, set it on the table, and plug it in. Perfect for the reading room. One thing I've discovered is that it does not like to be plugged into an extension cord. It wants all the power directly. And it does not like being on an outlet that is controlled by a wall switch. It may or may not turn on when in that kind of connection.
