It's not bad, just plastic.Lots of great stations, interface isn't too difficult to use. The battery lasts quite a number of days in between charges. It comes with headphones, unfortunately no plug for the USB style charger.Screen is black with white, very easy on the eyes at night which is a bonus.It's also small, smaller than most phones, which is handy, yet the screen is so clear it can be used without glasses on, at least for me. The volume also has a lock that can be overridden for how high the volume is, useful if you don't want hearing damage etc.Favourites can be saved, although it's extremely easy to switch between them.Information such as time, battery, station and song are shown on screen.Had a previous version which lasted many years, one of the reasons I bought this one. It's great to listen to the radio before I sleep. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I heard a real difference - and reception is way more stable. *by K***R on 15 April 2019* I've had portable radios for many years - FM until about 5 years ago when we first started filling the house with DABs and I took the plunge with an earlier version of this radio from Pure. Unfortunately we lived in a part of Shetland where the DAB signal was not strong enough and I had to return the item. However - this was not a fault of the item. I was really interested to see this newer model. And it is significantly different. It is smaller and lighter. I was worried at the change from aluminium to plastic but I definitely prefer the feel of the new radio and appreciate how much easier it is to carry around. Then there's the new screen. It is sharp and clear as a pin. Last but not least - the sound. I've had other portable dab radios and been very happy with then but this sounds so much better. Lastly - again - the reception is rock solid whether you're out walking through the woods or sauntering around your home. If you are looking for the best pocket dab right now - this is it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ R3 Very nice a few quibbles. *by R***6 on 6 July 2018* Only got this yesterday; so just 1st impressions.Now I am really pleased with this little radio so why only 4 stars? Well if it was selling at say Β£50 I think I would give it 5 but at the frankly enormous price this should be perfect and it is not quite perfect.The good;Sounds good; as good as my larger PURE radio sounds when I use it with headphones.The power/lock switch is well thought out and convenient.Size this really does fit in a shirt pocket, which is where mine, will spend a lot of time hopefully.I like the headphones some may not, a little large perhaps?Looks very nice and understated. Buttons feel good as does the whole thing but it does feel a bit flimsy perhaps for a device this expensive.Auto tuning found over 100 DAB stations no problem but I have a good signal here. Going to Frinton next week where I have failed to get a DAB signal on other PURE DAB radio’s so that will be a better test.I love the Black and White display; much easier to read in sunlight than fancy and unnecessary colour screen. Display is very bright at full setting; I found I was using it as a torch when I nipped to the Loo last night!QuibblesThe ridiculous volume warning that requires being overridden with the Select button, what nonsense is this?Like the pre-sets but why only two direct single press pre-sets. There is room for at least one more and the T4 has three? Actually I would like to see four or more single press pre-sets even if this meant smaller buttons.The manual says the USB cable is for power only, will not work if there is ever a software update. At this price this is silly. OK most people will have a data USB, I do but some may not. If they are going to include a USB it should be fully featured.The manual gives the same instructions for setting a pre-set as for selecting one.
