For this watch- Wind in a clockwise direction. Pull nub outward before turning to set. now for hand setting you turn "Counterclockwise" to set hands in "Clockwise" You MUST set time in clockwise direction (meaning hand movement) Remark: the spring mechanism in the watch is directional. meaning it can and will damage the spring to turn (hands) counterclockwise to set. **Q: How do you see the green lighting in the dark???** A: This watch sucks and it’s cheap!!!!! **Q: I have to update the time on the watch from time to time but after I did it this last time, it stopped working. I just want to know if I can fix it?** A: I don't think so.
