Review: Great sculpt, solid articulation - surprisingly versatile as a photography prop - I picked up this action figure mainly to use as a prop for my toy photography, and it’s turned out to be a lot better than I expected for the price. The sculpting is sharp with good definition, and the paintwork is clean with none of the messy overspray you sometimes get on budget figures. Up close, it holds up really well in shots, which is exactly what I needed. Articulation is decent too. It’s not on the level of a premium collector figure, but it moves well enough to get a good range of poses without looking stiff or unnatural. More importantly for me, it holds those poses - the joints are firm enough that I didn’t have to fight with it between shots, and it stands upright without constant adjustment or a stand (a small miracle in itself). The included accessories are handy and photograph well, and nothing feels too fragile. The proportions are natural, meaning it drops nicely into both close-up and wider scene shots without looking toy-like unless you want it to. I picked up this action figure mainly to use as a prop for my toy photography, and it’s turned out to be a lot better than I expected for the price. The sculpting is sharp with good definition, and the paintwork is clean with none of the messy overspray you sometimes get on budget figures. Up close, it holds up really well in shots, which is exactly what I needed. Articulation is decent too. It’s not on the level of a premium collector figure, but it moves well enough to get a good range of poses without looking stiff or unnatural. A very nice Luke Skywalker figure. Faithful to the original movie. I haven’t purchased many Star Wars figures in my time but my son feel in love with the original trilogy during the summer so it felt like the perfect time to buy a Luke along with a Vader. Very happy. Packaging feels premium even though it is within the £20 range. Very pleased ⭐
