**Q: Does this plunger arrive already assembled?**
A: No all you have to do is screw the handle into it the plunger

**Q: Does plunger measure 18" from bottom of suction cup to top of handle, or 18" from top of suction cup to top of handle (handle only?)**
A: The plunger measures about 20 inches from the bottom of the suction cup to the top of the handle.

**Q: How do u get plunger marks out of toilet bowl**
A: Your toilet bowl must have a lot of grime for the plunger to make marks  Gross!   Pour in at least one cup of straight clorox and use a toilet brush every day all over the inside of the bowl. Be sure to open a window or turn on a bathroom fan before you do this and do not mix clorox with other cleaners.   Once you get it really clean (i.e., no plunger marks and a white bowl) repeat the process at least once a week.   If it is a public toilet continue once a day.   Keep it clean and read up on what not to flush to decrease the need to use a plunger.

**Q: does this have a varnish on it?**
A: Mine did not.
