But, I looked up replacements for the strap on Ridge website and since they are available to buy, I'm a little nervous that they may not be part of wallets warranty... I'd have to check with Ridge about that. But if I lay the wallet down on the cash strap to avoid scratching the metal of the wallet, its pretty obvious that the metal on the cash strap will wear off the finish quick. The problem with Ridge is the same i see with Yeti. Quality products but prices that double competitors for basically the exact same thing. The metal construction seems high quality, but the elastic seems pretty thin. The cash strap elastic feels so flimsy. I rarely ever carry cash. But when I do, I don't want to loose it. And I question how well that will hold up. Additionally, for the money, I'd expect heavier duty elastic. This looks and feels like it will wear very quickly. One was $20, one $120 and this was $70... the $120 Proof wallet felt the most heavy duty, lighter, and all around best of the 3... but it is half leather, and thicker than the ridge.
