Review: Failed to meet expectations, all-around - I gave this item two stars for the ambitious idea. It's such a nice thought to be able to use a new innovation that will not contribute to our landfill and pollution problems. That being said, I was sorely disappointed in the product itself. When I used a spoon with hot soup, the spoon's flavor tainted the soup's flavor. When I tried using the spoons with creamy peanut butter, it couldn't hold up to the scooping action. Each spoon broke again and again. The spoons won't survive a dish of ice cream, unless it's mostly melted. I tried eating the spoons as a snack, but it just doesn't have an appetizing flavor.

I gave this item two stars for the ambitious idea. It's such a nice thought to be able to use a new innovation that will not contribute to our landfill and pollution problems. I love them but I have found my guests reluctant to even try them. 🥴. I got the pepper ones and the flavor is very mild. I’ll keep trying to change people’s minds.
