The thermometer strip doesn't work well for me, can't really see the temp, but my starter doesn't mind, it lives in the fridge. Size is just right for the amount of baking I do, the cloth cover is cute and protects the starter well, letting it "breathe" 😀 The stretchy band is awesome too, enables me to mark feedings, otherwise I would have to remember when starter was fed.
