The XM2 is extremely lightweight, which is beneficial for quick movements when gaming. The buttons are very responsive and provides pleasing tactile feedback, while the sensor performs very well. The scroll wheel has quite a bit of resistance, but I believe this will reduce over time. The mouse is quite a bit smaller than the Deathadder, with a slightly smaller hump at the rear and a lower profile at the front. I found this preferential to the shape of the Deathadder. There is no grip tape on the sides, but I found this made no difference to my ability to grip the mouse. The plastic construction and light weight of the mouse does not make the mosue feel cheap. I have confidence it will last in excess of 5 years. The software provided is very basic, however I much prefer this to the bloated nature of other software, such as Razer Synapse. Overall this is a great value for money offering and is ideal for anybody looking for a good value performance focussed mouse.
