Using this type of arbor for a saw blade, especially on a radial arm saw would be immensely dangerous. The blade is spinning to come towards you and if this arbor came loose you could potentially have a saw blade flying towards your chest and face. This is meant for buffing wheels and wire wheels with potentially much less harm to the user. I would suggest getting a machine shop or motor repair shop to fix your arbor. The motor should come off the saw arm so you can take it in for repair. Using this arbor would mean you had two small set screws holding on your spinning blade. Not a good idea. **Q: Is there a left hand version of the "thick" arbor?** A: Yes, the extensions attach via set screws, but the left bolt, holding in the grinder wheel, is still right threaded and can come loose, since the wheel is spinning the same direction as you would to loosen the nut. Better use some lock-tight on it or better yet, pay a little more for a left one. **Q: What is the exact id? my motor shaft is .625 od. will this fit on it?** A: Yes, it will fit a 5/8 shaft. The only way to make this nut is to (I think) either 3D print one or have a machine shop make one. I had to test print many variables to get to having a nut that works with the nominal diameter of the shaft. This is bananas!
