Two small downsides: the unit is a bit bulky if you’re tight on space, and closely spaced plugs can be awkward if you’re using large power adapters. ​I recently picked up this black extension lead for my home office, and I'm really impressed with it. The 5-meter cable is a massive plus, giving me plenty of flexibility to run it from a distant wall outlet to under my desk, which has been a huge help. The 8 outlets are perfect for all my devices—laptop, monitors, printer, and more—and the 1800J surge protection gives me great peace of mind, especially with a lot of expensive equipment plugged in. ​The double switch is a clever feature that lets you control two groups of outlets, which is handy for turning off my monitors without having to unplug everything. ​The only minor downside, and it's really a small one, is that the indicator lights on the switches are quite bright. If you're using this in a bedroom or a dark room, they could be a little distracting at night. It's nothing a small piece of tape can't fix, though! ​Overall, it's a very solid and reliable power strip. It's well-built, and the long cord and multiple outlets make it a highly practical addition to any setup. I would definitely recommend it.
