If you want the sequential turn signal or amber/blue colored LEDs, you will need to open the back of both headlights and remove the connectors associated with what you want (directions in install instruction handbook). Then you'll need to do some light mods to the fuse box in order to get the cable for the DRLs plugged in. I used a dremmel and made a small notch for the cable to fit through with the lid closed. Be prepared though - kind of a pain to align the lights since the knobs for adjusting are tight behind everything else.
