Some were complaints about the assembly. This did take a few hours to construct so allow plenty of time to put it together. It won’t be rushed. Also it is really really heavy so put it together on a set of towels, etc so you can move it around as you work on it and also drag it to the spot where it is going to live. The directions were excellent with very good drawings ( and exploded drawings when necessary); all screws and other components were very well labeled so you knew exactly which ones to use; every wood part was properly labeled to match up to the drawings. Every hole for a screw or other component was exactly where it was supposed to be. Also, well engineered so that all parts were strengthened ( see photo for corner supports). I’m a veteran of the big Scandinavian flat pack and this was that furniture in steroids (in the best way). There are two drawers that flip outwards which holds two rows of shoes. There's also a cabinet to store tall boots and a pull-out drawer for miscellaneous items. It has a beautiful brown finish that matches other furniture pieces in my home.
