This one happened to fit into the holder where the old one sat - that is a big plus. The old unit was rather expensive and all metal - I was concerned that a plastic one would look cheap, but this is very well done and looks fine. It has a myriad of settings, more than my older unit, and works very well. In my application it is a hand-held unit that is separate from the main fixed shower-head, and it serves that purpose perfectly. It was an easy install and a welcome addition at a price only a fraction of the cost of the old unit.
