Most of the time, I sleep on my side. Maybe10 to 15% of the time I sleep on my stomach. Side sleepers are supposed to use a firm pillow and stomach sleepers are advised by sleep experts to use either a soft one or none at all.So..I needed a pillow that could let me arrange it in either way. That is this pillow. I have slept on my side with itfortwo nights now and greatly enjoy the feel of it under my head. I have not yet wanted to sleep on my stomach but I experimented with the pillow and see how it can be arranged to be flatter when I need that configuration.To firm it up, I simply held each end and sort of "accordioned" it with my hands until it looked right to me.Here's what it comes down to: for a quite low price, I got a quite comfortable pillow. I believe that you will, too.I want to thank those who reviewed this pillow before me..the price is so low that I probably would have passed it by if there had been no reviews. Perhaps I will find that the life span of this pillow is less than my last, more expensive one.
