My personal opinion as to why contamination happens is because a lot of these startup supplement companies don’t have the budget to afford anyone that’s actually worked in the manufacturing process. An example of this is… The FDA at minimum, only requires one type of testing as a part of a release for products. So to save on cost, most manufacturers will only do identity testing to confirm a product’s quality as that is normally the cheapest option.
