Never thought I'd hear those words again. My sister and I used to listen to the whole series when we were younger, used to scare the hell out of both of use. We were passed around a lot in the family and this was one thing we enjoyed together. She passed several years ago at a early age. There isn't much left of the things we enjoyed together but thank you Amazon you gave me one of them. They are not scary in todays standards but still that voice is amazing. It's is alittle like the twilight zone except for one thing his voice. I remember sitting in the room with the lights down, listening to the stories , really great memories thank you . My sisters and brother and I would stay up late listening to "Tales" to get "Frightened" to death! I even contacted Mr. Karloff's daughter a few years ago to see if she knew if it would ever become available again. At the time she wasn't really sure if or, when it might be. I was delighted to find it here on Amazon and immediately ordered a copy. The memories came flooding back. Boris Karloff's voice doesn't hurt, either. The stories are weird and creepy. Nothing I wouldn't listen to at night, but just a bit weird and off.
