## Description

Simply remove AA battery pack on the j-1415 or j-1422 and install the J camera D pack to allow your J camera to operate on 6 D cell batteries. When powering your J Series camera with the J camera D battery pack you will more than double your battery life versus AA batteries which results in lower operating costs. The J camera D battery pack can also be powered by NiMH D rechargeable batteries (batteries not included). cuddepower Solar panel can be used to charge the NiMH D rechargeable batteries as well (Solar panel and D NiMH batteries sold separately).

**Q: Will a camera using this battery pack fit inside the j series cuddesafe. you can’t run a python cable lock or a padlock through the cameras anywhere.**
A: Thank you for your question. The J Series CuddeSafe fits the J camera with the AA battery pack and the D Battery Pack.

**Q: How long does the D battery pack last before new batyeties are needed?**
A: Battery life can vary depending on the size of your network, amount of images, weather, etc. so the range can vary. Typical extended battery life we have seen is 2-4 extra months vs running the standard battery packs on the camera.

**Q: Do you keep the aa batteries in the camera as well?**
A: Yes... but they have to be rechargeable. Will not work with non-rechargeable batteries. The camera works off the batteries. The solar panel recharges them.

**Q: I have 4 of these packs.  Are they no longer in production?  They last so much longer than the 4 D cell cameras available today.**
A: These have been discontinued. You can use the PW-3624 with the 4 D Cell J's. Camera would run off the 6 D Cell in the PW-3624 and then when those batteries die, the camera would change to the 4 internal batteries for its main power source.
