As soon as I removed it from the package I smelled a very strong chemical odor. There was a gooey substance that got on my hand which I guess is an adhesive (don't understand why it wouldn't be dry) coming out of the rubber at the base of the loop. I have washed my hands several times & still cannot get the smell off. This is ridiculous. This item should not be sold and the only reason I can think of for the 5 star reviews is the "free leash" offer in the package. The package will be on my back porch tonight because there's no way that toxic crap is staying inside my home. This one, no signs of wear.It’s comfy for me, I just wish it was available in 4 ft (5 ft is a bit too long right now) as well.
