A very good product and good value for money, for anybody that wants a no nonsense light weight box, I have now mounted it on the back of my "Beamer" "TWS" mobility scooter, so that I can now go Rambling (and carry everything I need) with my group called "Disabled Ramblers"

Ich hatte die Box als Küchekiste für eine Fernreise gekauft, weil sie in allen Dimensionen knapp unter den erlaubten Abmessungen der Fluglinie lag (maximales Gurtmaß 160 cm). Sie ist besser verarbeitet als die ganz billigen Baumarktboxen, und auch etwas stabiler, dabei aber noch recht leicht. Keine scharfen Kanten oder Ecken. Die Höhe ist ausreichend für große PET-Flaschen und die Box kann aufgrund der Höhe zusätzlich als Sitzbank oder Tisch dienen, was auch ein Kriterium war - die billigeren Standardboxen sind meist etwas breiter und weniger hoch. Die Box hat auf mehreren Flügen zwar ein paar kleine Beulen abbekommen, schließt aber nach wie vor zuverlässig. Auch die Griffe taugen besser als bei den mir bekannten Billigboxen. Einziger "Defekt": die Gummidichtung des Deckels sitzt etwas lose in ihrer Nut und kommt beim Deckel öffnen schon mal raus. Werde ich eventuell zumindest an den Enden einkleben. Noch ein erstaunlicher Punkt: obwohl wir innen keinerlei Scheuerschutz verwendet haben, färbte die Alubox nicht ab. Dürfte lackiert oder sonstwie oberflächenbehandelt sein. Beladen und verwendet wurde die Box mit dem für den Flug maximal erlaubten Gewicht von 30 kg. Würde ich wieder kaufen!
