The colours are as described (cream and aubergine) and it's reversible. It's pretty thin (in the picture, you can see through it) but this is evidently because of the material composition - 50/50 cotton and polyester. Based on the material composition, it's not the softest or warmest duvet cover. But overall, I think it's a good value for money (haven't washed it yet so can't speak to durability etc).
