It's essentially a device that can deliver TENS to your feet and another part of your body at the same time, which is amazing considering most TENS machines aren't designed for your feet. So how does it feel in operation? You can set the intensity of the feet pads independently of the 2 sticky pads that you attach elsewhere on your body, which is good - it scales from 0 (nothing) to 99 (apparently excruciating!). I found that on my first ever experience of TENS on my feet, I could manage about 15. After a few minutes, I could ramp it up and got as far as 40 before I felt it was just too much. So I honestly don't know what the other reviewers are talking about when they say they don't feel anything. CAT: Okay, so one evening our cat sat on my lap whilst I had TENS on my feet at power 10. The cat wouldn't budge and seemed to enjoy the sensation. But once I ramped it up to 15, the poor thing jumped off my lap and looked suspiciously at the TENS machine. He's not come near it since! The not so good: 1. Every push of the button on the remote control makes the machine beep, which becomes annoying rather quickly. There's no way to turn off the beep. 2. You cannot use the machine if you're charging it. They should've either made it possible to charge and use OR make it mains-operated only. I can't vouch for TENS being effective for the things mentioned in the item description, but I can say that the machine works as expected.
