They are round in shape, and have a general non-reflective look, meaning that, although they are waxed, they don't shine, which is nice for the type of show I am using them on. They came wrapped as seen on the Amazon page, packed in a small zip lock bag.Make sure you get the right length! The way I did it was pretty simple. I took one of the old laces that had not broken in half, measured its length (mine turned out to be 36 inches) and then selected that length for the order. And when I put the new laces in, it worked out just right!I would definitely buy these again for dress shoes if the need arises.
