Stored them indoors in normal conditions. Tried to use them this weekend to hang a banner in 50 degree weather. Picked up the storage bag by the zippered top edge- just the weight of the ties was enough so they all fell through the bottom of the bag onto the ground. So I played "40 tie pick-up." Then I tried to apply them to the banner. About 50% of the ones I tried were so brittle that they'd snap (break) as I tried to close them or attach them to a second zip tie. I didn't have this issue with the first ones I used from this batch about 3 months ago, so apparently the nylon/plastic self-disintegrates after 6 months. Useless junk, sadly. ### ⭐ Snapped while running it through the item to be secured *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2019* Had very little pressure on it, was just pulling it through the tie down point on a power strip to attach to my desk (Around a lower support) and two just snapped off, I hadn't even put the tounge through the locking point yet. Absolutely no way they could hold 200 lbs. ### ⭐ This batch of this item or perhaps by this manufacturer is bad *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2020* I bought this product in January and didn't have an occasion to begin using it till mid-May. At which time just wrapping the Nie Tie around a post, it snapped. Thought it might have been just that one, so I tried 3 more, any tension at all and these gave way, just hand tightening the zip tie failed! These were purchased specifically to carry a 200 lbs tensile strength, I can only assume the plastic is in some way defective.
