Review: Great until it isn't, but awesome customer service - Loved, loved, loved this griddle, until the coating starting peeling off. I use it about twice a week, always hand wash, no metal utensils. Nothing was sticking, fit over my oval burner perfectly. Food cooked evenly. Lightweight, did not warp. I got the glass lid for it as well which is wonderful. After 3 1/2 months, I noticed a white hazy section forming. I thought maybe it had not been cleaned well. After scrubbing, I saw that the coating has degraded and the white haze is actually the coating coming off. I am no longer comfortable using this griddle. Too bad, I really liked it. UPDATE After contacting Vayepro, they immediately responded and have sent a replacement. Replacement griddle received two days after contacting them. I will definitely update again as to how the replacement holds up. Except for the above mentioned problem, I love this griddle! UPDATE Coating still intact. This griddle is great, but does require some TLC. Hand wash only, no metal utensils, no high heat for any extended period. But I still love it!

Get this one! It comes with a glass top which helps when making burgers or steaks. You can chose to leave the handles off if you use it as a permanent fixture on your stovetop. The grid bottom allows airflow to be distributed evenly. The best part is that you can easily wipe it clean. It can be submerged in water, unlike cast iron griddles, however, you don't want to individually dry each of the grid squares underneath. I recommend wiping it clean. I've tried the more expensive cookware brand and it didn't heat evenly. This one did!!
