I wanted to connect my RTX 5080 to a TV in my bedroom. The problem with your standard HDMI 2.1 cables at long lengths, they are a very heavy gauge, and extremely stiff. Fiber Optic hybrid cables fixes that issue entirely. They can easily send the full 48Gbps of bandwidth while also being extremely thin, about as thin as a thick spaghetti noodle. That means there is zero stress on your HDMI port, and since the RTX 5080 only has 1, I wanted to make sure it lasted. As far as reliabilty goes, it's all but a guarantee this listing won't be here at the end of 2026. These companies just constantly changing their LLC's in order to not have to honor any warranty replacements.
