To remedy this, I bought a roll of nylon window screen and cut a small 1" square piece out and put it under the screw cap, and screwed the cap back on, now it shakes out in a more controlled amount and not just one big chunk of powder. Maybe the company that makes this powder will see this review and redesign their shaker top so you don't dump out a half bottle of powder when you just need to cover a small cut! It can help heal/dry the wound faster. It can be a little messy at its in powder form but I guarantee it works.
