Review: Awesome toy train! - Bought this for my 3 year-old train-obsessed grandson, and now buying another so he can have one at his house, too. He would play with this on his train set all day if we let him! What I appreciate as an adult: although it makes noise, it's not loud enough to bother me. The noises it makes are realistic and appropriate, including a bell, whistle, chug-a-chugga, braking, stopping. The "steam" is pretty cool, and isn't continuous, so you don't have to refill it constantly. I can't speak to durability, but so far he plays with for 1-2 hours each day, and it's still like new.

This little train is a hit with my Grandson who loves all things trains. It has a real steam function which adds to the excitement. The battery life has been good. The design of the train gives it an authentic appearance along with the sounds and color. This is a very good value for everything this little engine can do. It works with track master, Brio and Play rail tracks.
