It is a stand for use for your light pad or laptop. I am using it for my diamond painting light pad and boy has it made a huge difference in seeing the canvas and reducing neck strain. I use a light board under it so that makes the surface wider. It wouldn't be good without the light board. It's lightweight and easy to fold and store.
