To borrow a phrase from concealed firearm carry, "Having a handgun on one's person should be "comforting" and not necessarily "comfortable"!" So, as a neck knife, you won't fet blusters the one time you need it to slice a carotid artery or puncture a lung or heart and/or. disembowel someone, all of which constitutes the primary purpose of this knife. I will not use it to cut cardboard as that destroys my stropped edge. This knife came sharp from the box and I stropped it to razor sharp. I will order another and dull the edge for deployment practice as I've lightly sliced myself in practice several times in deploying it from under a short. It is wicked sharp and the curved, rebated top makes that pijnt needle sharp as well. It's large enough for me to put my index finger or thumb through, comfortably. I have medium-sized hands, and even the thumb knuckle has some extra room. This is a wicked knife, and is perfect for utility or tactical uses. Comes razor sharp. I'm glad I bought mine. Also, a feature they should advertise is that the kydex sheath has a clip that's reversible. You can wear it right or left handed, or even upside-down. **Q: Where was it made** A: It's not engraved on the knife, unless it's under the handle. **Q: how do you get it out of the sheath** A: In 30 years of using kydex, this is the first sheath that's TOO tight on the blade. Better a little too tight than too loose but this is excessively tight. I found if you push the handle forward ( away from the blade ) as you pull the knife up and out, that removing it is easier.
