It features independent heat control for the top and bottom elements. Individual control is indispensable to me. I like that the pizza stone goes from edge to edge in the oven. It is easy to scrape the stone because it is removable. It takes almost 40 minutes to warm up, but I am using the highest setting. Once pre-heated, each pizza is only about 3 minutes, which more than makes up for the long preheat. The page description has been the only issue I have found so far. The description reads that it is capable of 800 degrees, which may be accurate. The software on the controls only allows a max setting of 750 degrees, which is what I use for my pizza cooking. I am still experimenting to determine the best way to make pizza.
