If I could afford it I'd wear it all the time but I keep a couple of bottles in reserve for occasions where I need my nails to last without chips or wear for at least 4 days. I usually go for Essentials "the gel" top and base coat to give me guaranteed no-chips or wear in my very hands-on job, but this is the budget option and while I recommend it, I have to admit I do get better staying power from Deborah Lippmann. It doesn't hurt my natural nails, I don't have to abrade them like I would for gel and when I remove it I can't feel any brittleness or de-lamination. Aesthetically it performs very well, stays glossy and really adds a shine and depth to ever colour I've used with it - it's a must for coarse glittery finishes! I spent a fortune on home gel polish systems that had great reviews but I had the same problem with all of them: The gel polish would take forever to remove with 100% acetone and dry my skin to the point of flaking.
