First use I was in awe! I had washed my face one night and put on my Tazorac, and when I got up the next morning I got busy and did not wash my face right away. By the time I got to it it was later afternoon (and I had no make up on all day). I used a cotton ball and began to wipe my face and the cotton ball was almost immediately dark brown with junk! Gross, but wow! I used up that cotton ball and started with another to get up any residual and came away with a second cotton ball that was dirty, but not nearly as dirty as the first. Now in fairness, it might have been the Tazorac cleaning my pores out and bringing the dirt to the surface, but still, I was shocked to see how much I was getting off my face. After that cleanse I put nothing on my face and that evening, before bed, I used the Micellar Cleansing Water again and came away with another slightly dirty cotton ball. So, I give this my two thumbs up! When this runs out, I will be re-purchasing it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for dry skin *by J***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2018* I purchased this along with my Amazon Pantry order, & the cost was less than what I typically see it in my local store. I've been a fan of Simple products for awhile, & I typically buy the facial wipes. The first time I tried the Micellar water I had no idea what to expect? I thought "why am I buying water?". It's weird, because it looks like water, but as you apply it to your skin, it turns almost into a slight creamy type lotion. A little bit goes a long way. I tend to have dry skin, especially with the harsh winter we're having, & this product makes my skin feel nice. It does not dry me out more (their foaming cleanser did). If you are concerned about if this product is tested on animals, check out the parent company Unilever's website. (look for pdf animal-testing-position-statement). Purchasing cruelty free products are important to a lot of consumers, & I'd love to see leaping bunny's cruelty free logo on all of their products. ;) I recommend this micellar cleanser, especially if you are like me & have dry skin. It works nicely & leaves your skin feeling clean without drying at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple Water, but it Works *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2016* This is my third version of micellar water, and I'm totally sold on the concept.I tried the Garnier regular, and then the Garnier for waterproof makeup.All three do what they claim to do, which is to remove makeup and grime. However, there is a bit of a trick. When we think of cleaning something, and that includes our face, we tend to use a little more muscle than we need.Because of the way micellar water works, that isn't necessary. In fact, a lighter touch is much better because the water draws the impurities out. You don't want to grind them right back in! Light wipes over your face seem to provide the best results. And you can see those results in the cotton pad.This Simple brand product has no scent. The difference between this and the Garnier regular water is that this one, at least for me, leaves my skin feeling ever so slightly more hydrated.
