The tubers can be placed directly outdoors once the threat of frost or freezing temperatures have ceased in your area. Plant the tubers about 2 to 3 inches deep, blunt end down. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the fukl Botanical name of this plant ? Colocasia ... ?**
A: I would not order these.
Not only are they not colocasia, they are small elephant ears.

**Q: can it survive freezing temperatures?**
A: The ones I bought didn't even grow. They were tiny and dried up. Not even as big as a dime. Big Elephant Ears come from a big bulb, like as big as an orange or even grapefruit. To answer your question they really should be dug up at the end of the season. I'm in Missouri and it does freeze here. I've left mine out and they did come back for a couple of years.

**Q: I ordered in April but never received**
A: I order last year and have not received mine plants.. I contact this year and have not got a response yet!!!

**Q: Can they grow in AZ?**
A: Yes they do pretty well. I just started 3 new plants
