I'd heard this type of wax is less painful, so I figured I may as well give it a try. This warmer was extremely easy to use, even for a beginner. It came with four different bags of wax beads to try. I wasn't sure what temperature settings were best, but after some internet research I decided to melt the wax on high (took 5-10 minutes) then turn it all the way down to the lowest setting for application so I wouldn't burn myself. It also came with a package of tongue depressors for spreading the wax. Before application I applied a little arrowroot powder (I don't like baby powder, which was the original suggestion I read online) to my underarms and legs to absorb any sweat. People weren't kidding - it was painless. So painless I didn't even break a sweat and probably didn't need the powder, but it didn't hinder the process at all. One package of beads was enough to do my underarms and both legs with some left over.I wasn't expecting such an easy to use, effective product at this price point. Especially one that is attractive.
