The entire candy is gummy but consist of different layers of consistency but all the same flavor. The outer top is somewhat firm, the center is not as firm and right on the verge of really super thick jelly and the bottom is much firmer and more chewy than the rest. I have a thing about textures, but I found that these different textures added to my enjoyment of these candies. Of course, if you just pop the whole thing in your mouth, you may never notice but they are big enough that I took multiple bites, so I noticed. I really like the textures and the flavor. They are a nice treat, but I absolutely can’t eat just 4, so there’s that. They are pricey for gummies, but everything is these days.
